In 2025, Perth's Muslim community achieved something that will be spoken about for generations. Through extraordinary trust and generosity, community members collectively provided loans that enabled UAIA Perth to secure the purchase of a remarkable 5.9-acre property in Kelmscott, Western Australia — for $1,625,000.
This property, now known as Masjid Quba, stands as the largest Islamic landholding in the entire state of Western Australia. At 5.9 acres in the heart of Kelmscott, it provides the space and foundation to build a world-class Islamic centre — a place of worship, learning, community, and legacy for Perth's Muslim families for generations to come.
The purchase was made possible only because members of our community stepped forward with personal loans, placing their trust in UAIA to honour that commitment. That trust is sacred to us. We are now calling on the broader community to help us repay every one of those loans in full.
If you were not among those who provided the initial loans, this is your moment to be part of this historic chapter. Every dollar donated goes directly toward repaying the community loans and securing Masjid Quba's future — debt-free — for the Ummah of Perth.
