UAIA Perth exists to serve the spiritual, educational, and social needs of Muslims in Western Australia. We believe that a strong, connected community is built on the foundations of sincere worship, sound knowledge, and genuine care for one another.

We welcome every Muslim — regardless of background, ethnicity, or school of thought — and extend our hand to the wider Australian community through outreach and dialogue.

Our Journey

History & Milestones

From a small gathering of Perth Muslims to four mosques and thousands of community members across Western Australia.

2019
UAIA Founded & ACNC Registered
United Australian Islamic Association Inc. was established by a group of dedicated Perth Muslims with a vision to serve the growing Muslim community in WA — and formally registered as an ACNC charity in the same year, cementing our commitment to transparency and accountability.
2020
Maddington Mussallah Opened
Our first permanent prayer space opened in Maddington, providing daily prayers and Friday Jumu'ah for the south-east Perth community.
2024
Northam Masjid — Regional WA
Extending our reach beyond Perth, UAIA established the Northam Masjid to serve the Muslim community in regional Western Australia.
2025
Masjid Quba — Kelmscott
The acquisition of Masjid Quba in Kelmscott marked a landmark milestone — the largest land size of any mosque or Islamic centre in Perth at 5.9 acres, serving as UAIA's flagship location and administrative centre.
2025
Yanchep Musallah — North Perth
Our newest location, Yanchep Musallah, opened to serve the rapidly growing northern Perth corridor — bringing daily prayers and community programs to Yanchep and surrounds.
